COBRA" is a space-travelling adventure that features a lone-wolf space pirate COBRA, who gets away from any kind of crises with his invulnerable body and mental strength, using his "Psychogun" (cybernetic arm- laser). His only partner and companion is a beautiful female android called Lady Armaroid. He does no useless killing, and never steals from the poor. He loves cute girls, always cracks jokes on them and acts kind of foppish, but always bravely confronts with huge evils and enemies... Attracted by his characteristics, this title attracts a large amount of male fans, and its popularity still continues since it first appeared on the magazine 30 years ago. If you a fan of him, "COBRA" means "Psychogun", and "Psychogun" stands for "COBRA"; that COBRA and his weapon the "Python 77 Magnum" exist as one. You cannot talk about him without talking about this weapon. It is true that his other weapon, customized Python 77 Magnum is a superb gun. Only COBRA can handle this missile-like weapon that can shoot through a 100cm thick special alloy material from 500 meters away, and blowing up everything in between with its shock wave.
